Biography
Dr. Swain is a board-certified Family Physician. He has extensive clinical, teaching,research, health policy, and leadership experience, including as academic medical faculty since September 1990, and public health administration at MHD since December 1993. Dr. Swain serves on a number of statewide and regional groups, including the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Public Health Association. Before entering public health, Dr. Swain was a faculty member at the St. Mary's Family Practice Residency in Milwaukee, and prior to that he provided full-time direct patient care at a Milwaukee-area staff-model HMO.
