Biography
As the Care Coordinator for the Milwaukee Young Parenthood Program, Ms. Ramos works with young parents to link them to resources in the community and to address their needs in the areas of education, employment, parenting, immunizations and family planning. Ms. Ramos has 13 years of professional experience providing assessments to determine the needs of clients and to create a plan that outlines the steps needed to achieve their goals and attend to their needs. She has experience working in the welfare to work program assessing participant’s barriers to self-sufficiency and employment. The focus of Ms. Ramos’ has been to work with children and families as well as persons with socioeconomic and culturally diverse backgrounds. Ms. Ramos is fluent in English and Spanish and has extensive experience working with the Latino population.
