Come To A Community Discussion
This presentation will feature:
- We can prevent lead poisoning, asthma, obesity, injuries, and babies dying.
- These health problems are directly linked to the environment in our homes and neighborhoods.
- We need to work together!
Two meetings: Tuesday August 18, 2009 6-8PM in the Cafe el Sol at 1028 South 9th Street; or Wednesday, August 19, 2009 6-8PM in the Center Street Library at 2727 W. Fond du Lac Ave. Refreshments served.
We invite you to join one of these open community discussions about the link between our physical environment and health. At this public meeting, we will:
- View the video Place Matters, from Unnatural Causes...Is Inequality Making us Sick?
- Build a shared understanding in our community about how the environment affects our health.
- Hear YOUR concerns.
- Learn how to state your concerns to local and national leaders who will be at the Town Hall Meeting in October.
