The Wisconsin Cancer Council is hosting their Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the DoubleTree Hotel, Madison, Wisconsin. The annual meeting will include:
- Dr. J. Frank Wilson, Medical College of Wisconsin, will present on "Early Findings of the WiCARE Study--patterns of treatment care for breast and prostate cancer in Wisconsin."
WCC members and guests will also be updated and provide feedback on the WI Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan 2010-2015 planning process and hear reports from CCC Task Forces and WCC Committees.
Following the meeting there will be an opportunity to network at an evening reception with light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
Registration: 1:00-1:30 PM
Scientific Presentation by J. Frank Wilson MD: 2:00-2:30 PM
Meeting: 2:30-4:30 PM
Evening Reception: 4:30-6:30 PM
Prior to the WCC meeting, all of the CCC 2010-2015 Planning Work Groups will meet in the morning to work on their chapters of the next CCC plan. WCC members are encouraged to participate on a work group. To sign up for a workgroup, please email Sarah Kerch.
Registration
There is no registration fee and non-Wisconsin Cancer Council members are encouraged to register. Workgroup members are invited to join the WCC Annual Meeting after their morning workgroup meetings.

If you plan to attend the 8th Annual UWCCC Symposium on October 23, 2009, a block of rooms has been reserved at the DoubleTree Inn with a free shuttle to the Symposium the next morning.
