The City of Milwaukee Health Department is pleased to announce the launch of a new and exciting city-wide safe sleep campaign to prevent infant death in our city. Please join us for the kick-off event and unveiling of a provocative advertisement to remind residents that the safest place for a baby to sleep is on their backs, in their own crib or bassinet, with no pillows, bumper pads, blankets, or toys. Milwaukee’s 2008 Infant Mortality data will also be released.
Infant mortality, like many other public health issues, requires community support to see sustained improvements. We thank you for your continued dedication toward ensuring the health of all our residents.
