The Summit will feature a key note speech by the nationally renowned Fern R. Hauck, M.D., M.S., Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia. Dr. Hauck's research has focused on risk and protective factors for SIDS, with particular attention to the disparity in incidence between African American and white infants. The Summit will also include breakout sessions and a final forum for recommendations and next steps.
