This presentation will feature:
The meeting purpose is to:
1) Convene the various fatherhood programs, groups, services from around the state.
2) Discuss ways to assist fathers in their efforts to support their families both financially (child support) and in general (quality time, strengthening families, etc.).
3) Discuss the Obama Administration's Fatherhood, Marriage and Family Innovation Fund Proposal and how the state Fatherhood Plan correlates
4) Regardless if we pursue the federal funding or not, we need to convene to begin our collaboration and coordination efforts including communications, opportunity to learn from and assist each other via peer support, to develop a state-wide inventory data bank of fatherhood programs and services state-wide, etc.
5) We'll also share important information regarding the State's Transitional Jobs Demonstration Pilot (TJDP) that will begin this summer.
