Milwaukee Regional Cancer Care Network

Background

Wisconsin’s Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan is an integrated state effort whose mission is to create a consortium of public and private partners empowered to develop, implement, and promote a statewide coordinated approach to cancer control. One priority of the plan is to increase access to cancer treatment by reducing economic, geographic, cultural and systems barriers. A strategy suggested by the WI Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan was the development of "regional partnership networks" dedicated to breaking down barriers to access of cancer care. The Milwaukee Regional Cancer Care Network is the first partnership network to be developed in Wisconsin.

Goal
