In an article describing the impact on Milwaukee of the recently released state health agenda, "Healthiest Wisconsin 2020", the Milwaukee Magazine newsbuzz interviewed our Center Director, Dr. Ron Cisler. Dr. Cisler suggested that a focus on Milwaukee's poor could help improve all of Wisconsin.
The Center for Urban Population Health has been monitoring health disparities across socioeconomic levels in the City of Milwaukee for the past two years. The Milwaukee Health Report pinpoints where health disparities are greatest between lower and higher socioeconomic status residents in Milwaukee.
