Research Program Manager

Join in the fight against poverty! The Institute for Research on Poverty (IRP) seeks a highly skilled and motivated research program coordinator to work with national leaders in the Medicaid research field. This position works in collaboration with the principal investigator (PI) and leadership from the Institute for Research on Poverty (IRP) to manage IRP’s Medicaid Evaluation, Research, and Technical Assistance (MERTA) agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) and related health policy research projects. They will provide project management and oversight of contracts and budgets, including managing project timelines and ensuring contractually required deliverables are met; coordinate daily activities related to the MERTA research projects; work with diverse research teams of faculty, IRP staff, and students; serve as a liaison and subject matter expert among internal and external stakeholders; and help prepare and disseminate results for academic, policy practitioner, and public audiences.

WAI Data Manager and AnalystThe WAI seeks to promote health equity and improve the quality of life of people living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia and their families through education, clinical care, community engagement, public health and research. The successful applicant will be a detail-oriented self-starter who can work as part of a team to develop databases and implement processes to effectively collect, manage and summarize quantitative and qualitative data for evaluating the effectiveness of these programs.
