Evaluation of Bilingual Healthy Choices Program
About |
In order to empower Latino families to adopt healthier eating patterns and more active lifestyles to combat obesity, the Sixteenth Street Community Health Center (SSCHC) created the Bilingual Healthy Choices program to better serve the needs of their patient population on the South side of Milwaukee. While results of this obesity intervention have been promising, a formal evaluation has not been conducted until now. In partnership with the Center for Urban Population Health (CUPH), a rigorous external evaluation of the Healthy Choices program will occur.
